Henrik Vibskov

Henrik Vibskov is a renowned and award-winning Danish fashion designer, artist, curator and musician. Although commonly associated with fashion and the twisted yet tantalising universes created around each collection, Henrik’s creative practice covers multiple artforms. Working in the intersection between art and design, his work ranges from fashion collections to installation, product design, performances and exhibitions, always exploring creativity without limits and adapting the design approach to the changing contexts.

Since his graduation from Central St Martin’s in 2001, he has produced more than nearly 50 fashion collections and exhibited in several international design fairs, festivals and museums all over the world, including MoMA in New York, Palais de Tokyo in Paris, The 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art in Kanazawa and the ICA in London, to name a few. He has been a member of the Chambre Syndicale de la Mode Masculine since January 2003 and has been active on the official show schedule of the Paris Men's Fashion Week for 20 years. Alongside his work in the studio, Henrik is a Professor at DSKD, sitting on juries and giving lectures at institutions such as Central Saint Martins in London, Parsons New York and the Antwerp Royal Academy of Fine Art amongst others.

Next to the biannual fashion collections, he has also designed costumes for numerous operas and performances, including collaborations with Hotel Pro Forma, the Oslo Opera House, The Swedish National Ballet and the Brussels Opera House. Most recently he designed the costumes for the ballet “Hammer” by Alexander Ekman at the Gothenburg Opera in Sweden.

My Grönholdt

Swedish choreographer, dancer and performer based in Denmark, educated at Den Danske Scenekunstskole with graduation in 2011, internship with Sasha Waltz and Troika Ranch in Berlin, and summer school with Katie Duck in Amsterdam.

My works as an artistic director and choreographer for MYKA, which produces strongly visual and aesthetic performances that unfold topical societal themes with a magical and poetic touch with hope for the future. A choreographic practice where choreography, light, sound, scenography and costumes are an equal scenic expression, often in 360 degree scenographies with inspiration in nature and natural phenomena. My reimagines choreography for the youngest with inspiration from the visual arts, sculpture and installation art in cross-aesthetic productions that think big, for the youngest. In recent years, MYKA has worked with the theme of "Slow Living" and "Radical Softness" - where the slow, listening, present, meditative and sensual unfold, in a circular and soft physical practice, rooted in the body and the cycle of life.

My / MYKA has been selected for the "Career Program - The Young Artistic Elite in 2020-2022", and her performances have toured on stages such as Dansehallerne, ZeBu, SWOP Festival Open Dance, BORA BORA, Dansstationen Malmö, ICE HOT Nordic Dance Platform CPH MORE MORE MORE , Skånes Dansteater, Shanghai Children's Art Theatre, China.

My works as CO artistic director and choreographer for NORDLYS, a choreographic collective that produces cross-aesthetic site-specific traveling performance festivals nationally and internationally, with performances in Denmark, Norway and the Philippines. NORDLYS creates creative networks and collective artistic collaborations in a link between the newly graduated and the established milieu, and rethinks how the audience can be guided in whimsical, sensual, playful and interactive ways, with personal meetings in focus.

RHODA TING &

MIKKEL BOJESEN

Rhoda Ting and Mikkel Bojesen are an artist duo based between Copenhagen and Melbourne. Throughout their work, Nature and Culture, Natural and Synthetic and Pure and Feral exhibit undefined boundaries and Life in an open ended synthesis.

We are a creative production studio, that moves from a vision surrounding craftsmanship, embodied knowledge and a sharp aesthetic judgement. With a vantage point in theatrical set design, visual arts and the philosophy of Arts, we work with spatial, tactile and interactive installations that evoke an experience based curiosity with the user and the impact on everyday life at the centre.

Focusing on works that showcase the playful and stimulating simplicity of organized chaos, they seek to create frameworks from a predominantly analogue approach that arouse an explorative personal kinesthetic empathy. Their works prioritise a focus on detail that emphasizes the symbiotic relationship between material and hand, thereby aiming to expand expressions and uses of conventional materials.
